We work to understand and implement regenerative practices in a multitude of disciplines that are relevant for a working society. From building regenerative agriculture, architecture and product development to regenerative organizations and the role of art and aesthetics in regeneration.
Initial projects have centered around the regenerative building complex constituting The Center, around regenerative farmland practices and setting up resources to drive and support the many future, regenerative projects.
Projects:
Together with architects Djernes & Bell and BUILD, AAU, Hedeskov has developed methods that allow for live testing of local bio-based materials in a renovation context.
Starting from a 200 sqm net-zero energy pregermination house and a 300 sqm polytunnel, we are creating a production lab, focusing on the use of natural fertilizers and pesticides.
Developing species-specific compost from grass, manure, and green waste, and utilizing heat generated during the composting process.
Investigates the physical and mental health benefits associated with consuming non-industrially processed and regeneratively produced foods compared to industrially processed foods.
To enhance subterranean biodiversity, this project seeks to determine the optimal quantities of biochar for various crops and to optimize the synergistic use of biochar in combination with compost.
FUTURE PROJECTS
We focus on the long term and on impact so that as many, and as varied, target groups as possible can experience the upsides of regenerative practices, pushing the transition away from extraction and into regeneration.
